Yes, and being manhandled out of the Labour Party conference by the stormtroopers (who were only following orders) of Herr Blair, whom Mr Izzard had been gladhanding just hours earlier.

It was nice to see the gent concerned talking to a policeman on the news, I assumed he was making a complaint about the assault which had just occurred to his person, let alone his democratic rights, but no. No, he was being detained under terrorism-prevention laws.
